Welcome back parents, students and teachers! We hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable summer, and we are looking forward to a great school year 2010-2011. Our membership drive is underway and we are striving to reach 100% PTSA membership at Cypress Bay. Membership envelopes can be found in Student Affairs. The PTSA will continue to provide educational and informative events throughout the year. We will also continue with our Lightning Awards and hopefully award even more scholarships to deserving seniors. If you would like to volunteer to help out in various ways during the school year, please go to getinvolveineducation.com and sign up. |

Volunteers Needed |
Parents: Welcome back to what will be another great year ar Cypress Bay. If your son/daughter has graduated from Cypress, or you have transferred to another school, please let us know and I will remove you from my distribution list. If you are still at Cypress and are interested in helping out again this school year, you must be cleared by the Broward School System. Please go to: getinvolvedineducation.com and fill out the volunteer registration application. Once submitted, it is only taking about 5 days to be cleared. This must be done for all Broward schools. After you have submitted the application online, please contact us via our PTSA website at CypressbayPTSA@hotmail.com so we can notify you of any upcoming volunteer opportunities. I am already looking for some proctors to help with some grade 10 testing. Monday, August 30, during period 4 (I will confirm exact time, approximately 1 pm) Wednesday, September 8, during period 2 (I will confirm exact time, approximately 9am) If you are able to help, please let me know.
