PROJECT INFORMATION ANNUAL MEMBER OBLIGATIONS
  • Each student is required to participate in NHS projects to maintain membership.
  • Please notify the project officer concerning incorrect or un-recorded hours within ONE month of posting service hours. After one month, regardless of the excuse, you will not receive the hours for that project.
BLUE HOURS: Hours volunteering at NHS projects.
  • 20 blue hours are required each year to maintain membership.
  • 40 blue hours are required each year for a cord.
  • 40 blue hours are required both years for a mantle at graduation.
SERVICE HOURS DATABASES
WHITE HOURS: Hours volunteering in community.
  • 40 white hours are required each year to maintain membership.
  • 40 white hours are required each year for a cord.
  • 80 white hours are required both years for a mantle.
